Keurig My K-Cup Review
My job requires me to work till late night. Every second hour I drink a cup of coffee to remain awake and work efficiently. Making the coffee so frequently requires a durable and reusable coffee filter. I had been searching for a good one online and when I came across Keurig’s official website I came to know that soon they are introducing “My K cup” coffee filter. I already have an expensive and sturdy coffee maker. I had been using K cups by various other brands and manufacturing companies. So I thought to try this one too. Since I bought My K-cup I am pretty satisfied with it. A great reusable Coffee filter it is!
- It is a worth spending money on this product since it is not too expensive. In order to use it fully first you must get acquainted with the instructions given at the back of the product’s pack. The instructions were a bit confusing at first but reading them closely enabled me to understand its functioning well. The second step to use the filter is to remove the black plastic holder from the filter. Thirdly you must clean the filter after every use. Since I am already very cleanliness conscious so it was not an issue for me like other people. Plus it is the general rule for every gadget or product. Clean it well to increase its durability and functioning capability. I rinse it well after every filtration and dry it with a kitchen towel. It hardly takes a minute to do so. To me it is better to make the effort than to spend more money on buying coffee or such filters again and again.
So far I love the Keurig product. It does its function well. Brews and filters well on one hand while on the other it is very convenient to use. Despite the fact that it was a bit difficult to use it properly before but now with a good reading of the instructions and a little practice has solved the problem. Also, the compatibility of My K-cup is great with my old coffee maker. So I guess it is a compatible coffee filter which can be combined and used with other brands of coffee maker as well. So far it is a good and satisfactory product, so I recommend it to every coffee lover like me!

For the Kerurig coffee maker to not function without this cup was a little disappointing. As a result I had to get this no matter what; otherwise my coffee maker was pretty much useless.
Although this reusable cup is of an utmost importance, it is a disappointment that these are made very cheaply. Unfortunately, I have bought around 5 of these in the past year just to make sure my coffee maker keeps working on.
The cups are made out of such a cheap material that no matter how hard you try to keep it safe, it will still break apart. The biggest problem with the cup is its poorly made and weak plastic body. No matter what I did, this would just simply break away.
If the cup breaks down even a little bit, your coffee maker will spilt coffee all over the place, causing a lot of annoyance. Keruig K-Cup folks are very clever, they made a nice appliance with a decent price tag, but with these reusable cups, you have to change them so frequently that it is nearly absurd. For $13.99 cup, changing it for up to 5 times a year means that you pay a lot more than you paid for your coffee maker.
I would really recommend that you do not buy the coffee maker because this sounds like a gimmick and I have already spent a lot of money on maintaining it.

I am an avid coffee drinker and after every hour and half, I find myself in the kitchen, making coffee. Being a coffee lover, I was on the lookout for a good coffee filter and that is when I came across the Keurig My K-Cup. I was immediately drawn to this product by Keurig because of its affordable price tag but once I got it, I found it a little difficult to use it.
However, after using it a couple of times and reading the instructions over and over again, I finally got used to its mechanics. My K-Cup is a good coffee filter but the fact that you have to clean it after using it is quite annoying. Since I drink coffee a lot, the cleaning part is frustrating and consumes my precious time. Despite the cleaning problem, My K-Cup works perfectly well. However, I don’t think it is a good buy for coffee lovers like me because a lot of time is wasted throughout the day to clean and dry it. My K-Cup gets points for being inexpensive but it loses some serious points because of its several drawbacks.
