For the last 6 months my dryer has been leaving our clothes damp. I always knew I needed to get into the dryer vent and clean it out somehow. I saw the Lint Lizard on tv and said, I could go to the hardware store and make that lol. Of course I didn’t go to the hardware store, I just bought the Lint Lizard.

Watch my video below to see the Lint Lizard in action. Overall it is super easy to put together and not complicated at all. There are a few things I would have done better though. First you really need to put a piece of tape over where the clear tube meets the green nozzle since it tends to fall off easily.

Second I would have packaged it in a longer package so the tube stays straight. It is very hard to maneuver a curved tube into the vent area and get it where you want it. I actually found that if I took the tube off I could get it in better position and then reattach the vacuum.

At first I did not really see anything come through the tub, but when I looked at the canister I was amazed at all the lint. So much! Then finally there was a clumped up piece of lint that I could not get with the lint lizard because it was just to hard to suck through. I had to actually get a long stick and break it up, then I was able to actually get it with the lint lizard like you will see in the video.

The big question is how does the dryer dry now? Well it actually dries so much better. After running it for 3 minutes on medium I could actually feel more intense heat then before. Now I am assuming the better airflow is letting it get hotter? I am not positive about it, but the clothes are not coming out damp so the lint blockages was screwing things up for sure.

Overall I would say grab it and give it a shot.
