Misto Gourmet Review
I bought my misto gourmet olive oil sprayer only a few months back and I have been very satisfied with it. I love cooking and I for one want my food to be perfect. For that to happen I need reliable equipment. I was really happy when I bought my olive oil sprayer as it helped make my food taste a lot better. I use it for grilling my vegetables. The sprayers give a uniform, light coating of oil to the vegetables! I also use it for oiling my pans, grill, etc. Other than that it can be used on chicken that has been coated in bread crumbs. This way when you bake it the chicken comes out all crispy on the outside. There is so much more that you can do with the olive oil sprayer and I simply love it!
- The best thing about this sprayer is that is very affordable. You can get it for about $8. The sprayer is made up of satin-finish aluminum. You need to pump it up to spray any vegetable oil on your food, grill, etc. The sprayer works great with olive oil but you can also use any other oil provided you don’t fill the entire thing up which might clog it! You can avoid clogging by twisting the top after each use as this will release the pressure. It is better to avoid clogging as once this happens even hot soapy water won’t be able to fix the problem. My sprayer hasn’t clogged up till now because I take really good care of it and I hope it stays like that! The maintenance of the sprayer is very easy. You should wash it properly before using it initially. After that you do not have to clean it that frequently as it just contains oil. I washed my sprayer only when I felt there was a need to do so. You can easily clean your sprayer using hot water and a drop of mild detergent.
I think this is a great device and it is worth the investment! However there is one thing that I don’t really like about the sprayer. I have noticed that if I pump it up too much then the oil mists up too well. This way I end up getting a light coating of oil on whatever I am spraying the oil on. Therefore try not to pump it up too much as you might face the same issue. Other than this the device works just fine and I am sure you will like it as well. I would highly recommend it for use!

I am both a food lover and cooker of exotic dishes. I have long been using olive oil as my main ingredient to dress my cooked dishes and salads. I’ve always had to put in a lot of effort to dress my dish with olive oil so that each bit of it is covered in great taste. Since I got the Misto Gourmet, my life in the kitchen is so much better.
This product not only works great in the kitchen but also has one of the best looking exteriors. The entire exterior is covered in pure silver aluminum which makes it look quite high tech. The size of the can itself is quite reasonable as I have never had a trouble storing it around in my kitchen.
The best part about the Misto Gourmet is the sheer ease of use it brings with it. You can easily remove the top of the can and fill it with olive oil or any oil you love. Once the oil is in, simply plug on the top and the can is ready to use.
The only possible disadvantage I found out with the product is the energy that is required to use it properly. I really have to shake it hard in order to get the spray coming out the way I want. Otherwise it is one of the best things that have entered my kitchen in such a long time. A definite buy for those who are serious about cooking and loving food.

Misto Gourmet is a rip off. I bought this can and used it for some months until I found out the real problems with it. One of the biggest problems with this product is that it clogs a lot.
After using it for months, it started clogging frequently and I had to clean it every time it went clogged. It started clogging so much to a point that no matter how much I cleaned it, it never sprayed mist. The results were devastating, destroying my salads and dishes with drops instead of mist.
I am highly unsatisfied with this product, especially because I feel that the product is cheaply built and does not last for too long. I would highly recommend that you get a simple can from the local store which happens to last a lot longer than this. Also keep in mind that every time you want to spray some other kind of oil, you need to empty the can, clean it and then use it.
