Philips 69143/60/48 LivingColors Generation 2 Review
I have been very fond of lamps and lights. I like this dim and romantic lamp light at the night and a bright and sharp one during evenings or for parties. When I got Philips generation 2 LED lamp, I had thought it will work for both purpose. It is perfect during night since it gives the perfect light required in a bedroom at night. The colors are pretty awesome. However, the light is way too dim to use during parties. Three or four of these lamps are required to give the required amount of light. And also I am unable to read anything in its light which I usually do before going to sleep. It works on a remote control system which is very advantageous on one hand while on the other hand if it breaks or has any technical fault then the lamp is absolutely useless since it cannot operate without a remote.
When I bought this lamp I thought it will be worth the spending. But now after using it I think it’s a little expensive for what it offers. The worst part is that despite the popularity of Philips products it does not offer a good warranty. Although I haven’t encountered any serious technical issues with the lamp yet but I assume that due to lack of a good warranty, the customer services will be poor as well. I like the style and design of the lamp. The size is good too since it can fit easily anywhere. The only issues I have so far is the lack of brightness I need during evening. Overall I will give it 3 stars for its high price. I would prefer to get an alternate.

The Philips Livingcolors generation is a fine little lamp with exciting and mood swinging colors. I happened to come across this lamp in one of my friends home who loves lamps and usually have a lot of them around his homes. When I first saw the lamp, I instantly fell in love with it and decided that I should have one of these for myself.
I wasn’t sure how much it was for but when I checked the internet I was surprised to see the price being very high. I went on and bought it anyway. When it came to me I was pleased by it a lot and placed it besides my reading table in the main bedroom.
The only few problems with the lamp is that its remote is a little piece of ancient technology. I was expecting a small remote that wouldn’t take too much space behind my pillow, but this one surprised me. The lights are awesome but be warned it’s a bit dim.
Even though I haven’t used the lamp for too long but my friend who had this same lamp told me that his lamp went dead after 12 months and he couldn’t get any support from the manufacturer. I am not sure if he tried hard but its better to ask someone you know before you buy this.

I bought the Philips Livingcolors Generation 2 LED lamp because when I saw it in a local shop, I instantly fell in love with the concept. The lamp changes colors and gives you a great feeling at night. My only issue was that it is priced quite high and I don’t think such a thing should be that high in price.
The other reviewers who have talked about the lights being too dim are correct. I tried using this lamp in a large room and the results were not impressive, so I had to move it to a smaller room. If you have a large room where you will be keeping this, I suggest you do not buy it.
As far as the lamp goes, once you have it and place it in a nice small room, it does exactly what it is advertised as. The lamp changes colors and brings about a great aura in the room. This is possibly a great addition to your room if you like listening to chill out music at night.
Even if you do not like the light power of the lamp, it still offers great looks for oncoming visitors. If you want to impress your friends and family, this is a great addition to your room, but keep in mind its quite expensive for what it does!
